Friday Favorites

Happy Friday, one and all! What are you up to this weekend? Jules and I are looking forward to a delicious brunch with Asa and Tina, two of our favorite blogger buddies. Also on my to do list is a viewing of The Martian and curling up on the couch with October’s book club pick. (We’re reading The Shining in honor of Halloween – have you read it?) Anyway, I hope you enjoy these links that I’ve lovingly compiled for you from across the interwebs!

Hooray for Friday! How was your week? Seattle is settling into fall, which means it’s grey and drizzly here and all I want to do is stay inside, get cozy on the couch and watch half a season of Gilmore Girls in one sitting. But I’ll have to put my ambitious Netflix plans on hold, because Jules and I are getting up at the crack of dawn tomorrow morning and heading to Nordstrom for their Fall Beauty Trend Show. As always, I’m going to require copious amounts of coffee, but I can’t wait! Now let’s kick off the weekend with some fun links.

Jules and I are both excited to relax and unwind in our own ways…while she communes with nature on the Olympic peninsula, I’ll be learning how to make macarons at this French cooking school and binge watching the new season of Orange is the New Black. (Jules, bring me back some s’mores and I’ll save you some macarons, ok?) Now let’s get the weekend started with a few boredom-busting links!
