Happy Friday, friends! I’m super excited for the long weekend, even though my 4th of July is shaping up to be pretty low-key. What about you? In other news, I want to let you guys know that I may not be posting as frequently for a bit. Writing three posts a week is always a challenge, but it’s especially tough at this time of year, and what I really need is to get out and enjoy the sunshine instead of sitting in front of my computer all weekend. Can anyone relate? Anyway, I’ll still be here – just not posting quite as religiously as usual!

Happy Friday, friends! Despite some interesting things happening around town (most notably, the Fremont Solstice Festival and Naked Bike Race) I’m looking forward to a pretty quiet weekend. A brunch here, a cocktail there, and if I’m feeling particularly ambitious, maybe I’ll even catch up on Game of Thrones. Do you have anything fun planned? Happy Friday, friends! It’s been a pretty quiet week around here, but that can be a good thing now and then. I caught an advance screening of Tina Fey’s new movie Whiskey Tango Foxtrot the other night, which I really enjoyed. What are you up to this weekend? I have major brunch plans, and Jules will be settling into her new home (which has a pool, by the way. So much jealousy). Let’s get the weekend started with a few fun links!

It’s been ages since I had a legitimate reason to do any back to school shopping, but every year around the end of summer, I still feel compelled to get organized and stock up on cute office supplies. Whether or not you’re gearing up for classes in the coming weeks, back to school season is the perfect excuse to beautify your workspace. If you surround yourself with items that are functional and beautiful, you’ll feel productive and inspired every time you sit down at your desk. Like I said, it’s the perfect excuse to shop!
